Ze Luncheon

For the luncheon (which we ended up being two hours late to) we went to spaghetti factory. It was quite delicious and a nice place for a luncheon. Believe it or not, spaghetti factory is gluten free. Which is a big plus, especially because they have great gluten free food. Anyway, we started the luncheon off by some "toasts" or should I say roasts from family members.
My mom went first.
She told embarrassing traits about me, like how I'm feisty and how she pulls a Chihuahua out every time I start getting feisty. (She's called me a Chihuahua for a long time  now, and one day she came home from the DI with a hideous fake Chihuahua to taunt me with.) She also mentioned that I'm terrified of gnomes and proceeded to give me a gnome picture.

(Meanwhile throughout the embarrassment Oran, and I just couldn't get enough of one another.)

My dad went next and just so happened to tell one of the most embarassing stories about me known to man. Clearly from the pictures you can tell I'm dying.

But I love my daddy anyway.
Then the siblings took a whack at it.

(They all mentioned how feisty I am, and how they thought when Oran picked me up on our first date he was some strange man. HA!)

Side Note: Oran's parents spoke, but for some reason our photographer didn't get any of that but use your imagination.

Oran decided to speak, which was unfortunate because that meant I had to and I had no clue what to say. That's pretty much what I was thinking about for most of his speech, but hey it was also real cute at the same time, and he makes me smile.

Here I am awkward as ever, I really have no idea what I said throughout this whole thing, and I know everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.

(See? Look at my parent's in the picture below, their faces scream uhhh what?)

But as always my sweet husband just made me feel good about it anyway.

Then one of my best friends, who is also my uncle, Jon got up and said a few things. He got off his mission two days before Oran and I got hitched, it was such a blessing to have him there for one of the biggest days of my life.

MMM, Ice cream. That came last.

We got in our usual ice cream fight.
Note the ice cream on Oran's nose.

That about sums up the luncheon, it was full of embarrassment, good food, and weird stares from friends and family, but all in all it was a success.

We really should be best friends because...we both have that dress and we both look ridiculously great in it!

Oh, I fully agree with that statement!
