The work day boredom

I'm using bloggers new page layout and it's so dang confusing. Anyone else tried it out? I like to try out things as soon as I can so I can get used to it before they change it on me aka Facebook Timeline. Anyway, today is a really boring day at work so I decided I'd do a little survey. You know the things no one reads...

  1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? 23, sounds like a good solid age.
  2. Which is worse, failing or never trying? Failing, because you can always try again, but with a better knowledge the next time of what not to do.
  3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Well, I think some of the best things for you to do in life, are the hardest. If you want a truly rewarding life you'll work hard for it, even if it isn't the easiest thing to do, and even at the time it isn't something you like. I think we like so many things we don't do because it's a way for us to be tempted to do them. Refraining from temptation and doing the right thing is what makes us strong.
  4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done? Probably. I hope that I can change that, because that just sounds really sad.
  5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? I'd like for everyone to be equal. It can be stated that we're all created equal, and I agree to an extent. God created us equal, but that doesn't mean the world views us as equal. That's why we have celebrities, presidents, rich people, poor people, and race. I think that every person should be on the exact same level.
  6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich? Well photography makes me happy so I'd be making bank there.
  7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing? I strive every day to do what I believe in, but there are days that are harder than others. I always try and keep in mind what is most important to me in life.
  8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? I'd be kinder. I try to be nice to everyone, but generally I feel like I'm kind of an angry person. Maybe because I have been hurt so many times, but if I don't know you at all, I'm probably going to avoid you. I really do want to change that anyway.
  9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken? Well, by choice I decided to take the CNA class that led me to my husband, who is my whole future, but it was because of God that I felt impressed to take that CNA class at that time.
  10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? Doing the right things.
  11. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire.  They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend.  The criticism is distasteful and unjustified.  What do you do? I'd probably straight up tell them that they're my friend and I would appreciate them not saying bad things about them. I would try to tell them some good things about my friend, so that maybe they could see a different side to them.
  12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? The gospel of Jesus Christ is true, and you must always live to follow it, even when it is hard. It will  be the best decision you have ever made.
  13. Would you break the law to save a loved one? Geeze, this is a tricky question. I'm going to say yes for now... but I would like to know how I'm saving them and what law I'm breaking.
  14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity? Most definitely, but I can't think of a time right now. HA!
  15. What’s something you know you do differently than most people? I don't eat wheat.
  16. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy? Because we are all different. Not one person is the same. That was God's plan from the beginning, we all have our own free will, and the ability to choose. Life wouldn't be any fun if we all liked and did the exact same thing.
  17. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What's holding you back? Have a baby.... and I'm not sure.
  18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of? Yes.
  19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why? I think I would like to move somewhere southern. I small town, with nice people, and sweet accents.
  20. Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster? Of course I push it more than once. And no I don't believe it makes the elevator faster, it just makes me feel better.
  21. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? Joyful simpleton. Worrying causes stress and stress I do not like.
  22. Why are you, you? I am me because of the life I was given, the people I was surrounded by, and the lessons that I learned.
  23. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend? Recently? No. Before? Yes. Why the change? Got tired of always trying to please everybody when no one ever wanted to do the same for me.
  24. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you? Definitely the second. It's happened recently and it hurts terribly.
  25. What are you most grateful for? My husband. He helps me with so much, and is the one person who will do everything he can to make sure my dreams come true.
  26. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones? This is a hard question. I don't know, after watching the vow, I guess I'd like to make new ones...
  27. Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first? I suppose so...
  28. Has your greatest fear ever come true? No thank heavens
  29. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now? I actually can remember when I was upset five years ago, and you know what? It really doesn't matter at all now.
  30. What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special? Building the tree house in the field across the street from our house. I was with some of my best friends, and we worked so hard, and accomplished something awesome. It was the saddest day of my life when they tore down that tree house, and the field.
  31. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive? I'd say when I was dating my husband to now.
  32. If not now, then when?...
  33. If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?....
  34. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever? um... no.
  35. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? I don't have a good answer for that.
  36. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil? Not without a doubt, but you do always have God to pray to and ask whether it is right or wrong.
  37. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job? Yes, yes yes yes.
  38. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? More work I actually enjoy doing.
  39. Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before? yep. It's not a good one.
  40. When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in? Just recently, and I won't look back either.
  41. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today? The people who have made the biggest difference in my life.
  42. Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous? No.
  43. What is the difference between being alive and truly living? You can always just sit around and do nothing with your life, and make nothing of yourself. That's being alive. Truly living, is not taking anything for granted, learning from the lessons life gives to you, and aiming to be the best possible person you can be.
  44. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right? Doing the right thing is always gonna be the right choice. There never is a right time... you just do it.
  45. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake? Because dealing with the consequences of our mistakes is hard. In the long run yes we learn, but it's never an easy process getting there.
  46. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you? Honestly? Probably a lot of things.
  47. When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing? Uh.... now I'm breathing funny... Thanks a lot.
  48. What do you love?  Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love? My husband, and I believe so...
  49. In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday?  What about the day before that?  Or the day before that? Um. I think I'll be able to remember the more important of those days.
  50. Decisions are being made right now.  The question is:  Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you? I think that I'm making them for myself. I'm tired of having others make decisions for me.
