Opening my eyes
After seeing the loss people have experienced this week I have began to wonder some things. I notice everyone has been flocking to these people, bringing them things, and trying to make them feel better. The thing is, these people doing this aren't usually there for them until they are greatly suffering. My question is, why can't we be there for people all the time? Not just when someone dies, or when someone is greatly ill. Why can't we be there for them when someone has a minor cold and is in need of some comfort? Why can't we be there for those feeling alone? Why can't we be there when someone's just having a bad day? I think we should all be able to come to the rescue for people all of the time. Not just some of the time.
